St Maurice at Resurrection adheres to the Volunteer Requirements of the Archdiocese of Miami. The Archdiocese mandates that all volunteers working with children & elderly of the parish fulfill several requirements in order to be eligible to assist CCD and various other parish activities undergo a background screening.
Volunteers must complete Virtus Training which is held at various locations in Dade and Broward counties. Dates and locations of trainings can be found at virtusonline.org. A completion certificate must be submitted to the parish office once training has been completed. Volunteers must remain current with Virtus Training Bulletins.
Applicants will create a secure username/password to enter the Fieldprint scheduling system.
In the Reason why you need to be fingerprinted, select the link I know my Fieldprint Code.
Select the Access Code that applies, and list it as your Code to access the system
(Note the cod is case sensitive)
Parish Employee use: FPAOMParishEmp
Parish Volunteer use: FPAOMParishVol
Parish Vendor/Contractor use: FPAOMParishVend
Provide your contact and demographic info. The information requested on the scheduling site is the information required by FDLE/FBI in order to process the criminal search.
The website will prompt you for required information, and help you find a facility close to your location to schedule an appointment. Instructions, directions, maps and photos will be available on-line to assist you.

You will need to bring 2 forms of ID, preferably with a picture such as a Passport, Debit Card, etc.
At the completion of your registration you will need to print out the receipt – You will need to bring this with you to your appointment.

Before or after your first Protecting God’s Children session (but not both), you will need to register with the VIRTUS Program. This is required of all participants. If you do not have internet access and cannot temporarily gain internet access via school, university, library, work, home or other means, please register with your Facilitator or your VIRTUS Coordinator.
Choose the name of your organization from the drop-down menu by clicking the downward arrow and highlight (Miami Archdiocese) Once you have selected Miami Archdiocese, click “Select”.
Create a user ID and a password you can easily remember. This will establish an account with in our Diocese and the VIRTUS program.
Continue to provide the information required to complete your registration including your PRIMARY location where you will be Volunteering (St Maurice at Resurrection). You will also need to select the role(s) that you serve within your organization, such as Teacher, Catechist, Office Volunteer etc. If you do not have a title, please briefly describe what you do for the diocese and Click Continue to proceed.
If you have attended a Protecting God’s Children Session, click YES, and you will be prompted to select the session you attended. If you have not attended a session select NO, and you will be prompted to select a date and location to attend.
Once completed, click Complete Registration. You will see a message on the screen confirming that you have completed the registration process. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided.

Please go to this link and print out a copy of the Pledge, read and sign the Pledge and bring it to St Maurice at Resurrection Parish Office.
